Spying, USA and Germany, sharing with Israel, Britain, Sweden and officially neutral Switzerland. No wonder they fear Huawei 5G equipment "Swiss investigate report that firm helped CIA break codes Switzerland said on Tuesday it was probing reports that the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and the German BND spy service used a Swiss firm’s encryption technology to crack other nations’ top-secret messages. The company, called Crypto AG, sold code-making equipment to Iran, India, Pakistan, Latin American nations and dozens of other countries. The technology was modified to let the CIA and BND break codes, the Washington Post reported along with German and Swiss broadcasters ZDF and SRF. They described a Cold War-era caper in which American spymasters and counterparts from what was then West Germany from 1970 were responsible for nearly all Crypto AG operations, from hiring and firing to sales tactics." uk.reuters.com/article/uk-swiss-cyber/swiss-investigate-report-that-firm-helped-cia-break-codes-idUKKBN2051W3?il=0

Problematic indeed. As long as it's based on (computer) logic it's solvable. It may need time, but with a powerful enough computer system, some resourceful programming not much time. That's assuming you really want to crack an encoded message. Something less logical is required, but again with brute power it just needs a bit more time.
Of course, shortish messages forcefully encrypted might last a few days. For certain type of messages that might be enough. Next we'll just add a few meaningless messages to waste peoples time.
Not really ideal. Maybe encode in 3D physical objects? Probably only difficult for a while. Maybe back to whisper in my ear and I'll pass it on?

Latest I read was that when the CIA/NSA asked Germany to 'do something' to weaken crypto coding in equipment to be sold to Turkey the Germans refused. Next the Americans approached Philips USFA which was a bit more supportive. Specifically the encryption was 'weakened' in the Philips/Siemens aroflex to make the beroflex which was aimed at the civilian market. For Turkey beroflexes were made to look identical to aroflexes. cryptomuseum.com/crypto/philips/aroflex/index.htm"Philips heeft meerdere keren de versleuteling afgezwakt van apparaten waarmee landen veilig dachten te communiceren, bevestigt Cees Jansen, oud-cryptograaf van Philips, zaterdag tegen Argos. Philips deed dit in opdracht van de BVD, de voorloper de AIVD en de Amerikaanse inlichtingendienst CIA." www.nu.nlSome more on different crypto devices here cryptomuseum.com/crypto/index.htm
