The missus went to the bank this morning to draw 50k, no problems. Mind you to gain entrance to the UOB branch at Bang Phli was fun as the health cleanliness and temperature check process was in operation. No problems, traffic she said was ''น้อยนิด'' (nit noi) thus an easy drive, 40 minutes all told for the task and drive.

Farang not understand thai weather, wind was blowing in wrong direction. Since when has TVF and some interesting characters there been upgraded to 'well of wisdom'? Yesterday morning I almost dropped my coffee reading some mails, you're lucky only ATMs had a problem. It could easily have been your account  A bit more technical, but only a little bit since it's what they call 'none of your business'. Some ATMs 'share' a 'link' with both other devices as well as with whatever the telco company 'does' to 'guarantee' a certain throughput. So, at times responses may be less than one would hope for. Note that with various Bank of Thailand regulations there's an awfull lot going on in logging and reporting. To prevent money laundering, to record suspicious transactions.
