Must be FAKE news. Not a drop yesterday and doesn't look like it today either. I demand to see the reports. Surely after examination it will become clear that their input data is suspect, and/or their assumptions, and/or their logic and/or their conclusions. Buy me some batteries for my Crystal Ball and I'll give you a more reliable forecast. Is 'crystal ball' a euphemism you use often rubl? Only when wetting my finger, holding it in the air and looking at the sky doesn't help me

Well, 20 minutes of heavy rain here in the Dusit area of Bangkok. At least the temperature dropped to a more acceptable 33C I think. Also the dust gathered the last few days has washed away. Like this once a day I wouldn't really mind

Here in Mae Rim we've seen very little rain, just one or two meaningful but brief downpours then sweet FA! Most afternoons see lots of threatening clouds from the North West but the monsoon comes from the South West and thus far has not materialised..... really unsure what the NW winds are all about, hot meets cold I guess, definitely ferocious and scary however.

Has anyone read anything worth posting regarding the incredible and highly unusual heat in Northern Thailand currently? This is the first year ever that we've been forced to use air-con. before the early evenings, now we switch it on around midday. It is truly unbearable trying to work outside or even being outside in the afternoon, even the local field workers are finding it really tough going.
