Depends on the topic(s) and the self professed expert(s) who may be hitting their keyboard(s) concerning matters and issues which in truth they have no practical experience(s) of in their ongoing relentless self promoting egotistical campaign(s) to inflate their own ego... And I would add to those things, motive. 1 - Knows nothing about the subject and has lots of wrong guesses/information and merely wants to talk. 2 - Knows little about the subject but wants to promote debate. 3 - Knows a lot about the subject and wants to transfer knowledge. 4 - Knows a lot about the subject and wants to educate. I think 2,3 & 4 are OK, 1 is just a waste of time. And then of course there's always....in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. In my experience the one-eyed man is best advised to keep his mouth shut and carry on enjoying his advantage. He will probably find that the blind man with the biggest mouth is king. So if he speaks, nobody can relate to him and he is thought a dangerous fool. If he keeps his mouth shut he can carry on nicking the best sandwiches and pulling the best women.

People know the things that they know, often they know a lot and are expert until somebody else shows up who knows more, then they are relegated....knowledge is all relative, few people on social media are interested in incremental learning, instead it's all about competition and being top dog for a moment or two.

Wells wrote, but a good interpretation.

What gets my blood boiling? High temperatures for sure Naturally, just when the temp rises to intolerable levels, my air conditioning goes on the bunk. I'll need to get someone out today.

I can consult from afar but this sort of service doesn't come cheap, first thirty minutes free however. Q1: is it plugged in and turned on? Three and a half free minutes remaining.

To be fair I had a blow out on my electrical supply last week so the first thing I did was to check circuit breakers, etc - everything looks fine. New batteries for the remote - looks fine. I'm hazarding a guess that a gekko has committed suicide inside the AC ( again ). Engineer will be here tomorrow afternoon.

I feel your pain, my air has electric, but the compressor wont kick in, new motherboard no doubt, its not the cost that bothers me, its the waiting time and the getting up in the middle of the night for a p**s and almost falling down the stairs, ha ha ha.

Indeed it was amusing to see just how many of the members here in the earlier days used to troll in the other place with such success. The ultimate was of course the Cheeseman thread which was the brainchild of one of the members who is still with us. that really brought the boot lickers and the brown nosers out on the other side including their mods... Which forum was that ? Teakdoor ?

So in tne spirit of not trolling myself, I've deleted my USA political account on Twitter, I still have my Thai account. I avoid Thai politics like the plague so when I look at that account I often switch off after a couple of minutes. I'm (un)lucky if I look at TVF once a month, and I've unfollowed most Facebook groups related to Thailand over the last few months. I didn't post much anyway and was surprised when some insignificant weirdos pm'd to argue points on the rare occasions that I did.

I love when they try to search my fb profile....get nowhere then try hitting me up on messenger as well....a huge welcome to my iggy list.
