During a conversation with my son he pointed out that he was the world's best troll, at trolling himself. He'd wake in the morning in a perfectly average mood, open his phone and go looking for the controversy of the day that he knew was guaranteed to get his blood boiling. In his case, it was the ongoing meltdown at Rangers FC that was the source of greatest anger.
Moi? subjects I avoid like the plague - Muslims, Brexit and Scottish independence. In my opinion, the first two ruined my enjoyment of this board - the third is not on the agenda, and while I'm an independence supporter, I don't want to spend every day having repetitive arguments. So, the questions are:
What topics are guaranteed to make your blood boil? And, do you go looking for them?

Racism, religious intolerance, expats telling us the Baht is manipulated by the elite and anything Trump related. Do I go looking for them? No, there's no need, they jump into view daily at the drop of a hat.

Racism and the abhorrent removal of Ricicles from the variety pack are both guaranteed to get smoke pouring from my nostrils quicker than one of Tony's bongs.

People that think they know me. Really, who the f*ck are you? Looking in the mirror again? Complete strangers. Like when a cop says "I think you're on drugs" Like yeah, I'm a f*cling heroine addict.

Depends on the topic(s) and the self professed expert(s) who may be hitting their keyboard(s) concerning matters and issues which in truth they have no practical experience(s) of in their ongoing relentless self promoting egotistical campaign(s) to inflate their own ego...

Why were they in debt? I hope they sue the ass out of everyone involved in that mickey mouse league, plus hmrc for loss of earnings.

Indeed it was amusing to see just how many of the members here in the earlier days used to troll in the other place with such success. The ultimate was of course the Cheeseman thread which was the brainchild of one of the members who is still with us. that really brought the boot lickers and the brown nosers out on the other side including their mods...

And I would add to those things, motive. 1 - Knows nothing about the subject and has lots of wrong guesses/information and merely wants to talk. 2 - Knows little about the subject but wants to promote debate. 3 - Knows a lot about the subject and wants to transfer knowledge. 4 - Knows a lot about the subject and wants to educate. I think 2,3 & 4 are OK, 1 is just a waste of time. And then of course there's always....in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

It was a collaboration of two great minds in actual fact...the execution however was worthy of Kenny Dalglish style adoration. A proper hat-trick.

I can still picture the post of that mod taking the wheelie bin out. Lasted seconds.
