Today I went to do my 90-day reporting. Took five minutes. BUT it's a longer story and a long trip to Muang Thon Thani today. A few months I changed companies resulting in new workpermit/visa. Where with old company visa and 90-day reporting was done at the Immigration One-stop-service-center at Chamchuri Sq., SamYan Bangkok, the new visa was processed at Immigration Chaeng Wattana. I didn't feel like going there so Monday 05/10 I did an online reporting, Wednesday I got a mail with 'rejected' and goto Immigration Chamchuri Sq. Thursday at Chamchuri Sq. I was told "visa made in Chaeng Wattana, do reporting in Chaeng Wattana". Today I went to Immigration Building B in Chaeng Wattana only to be told they moved somethings to Muang Thon Thani due to COVID-19 and got a map of new location. Motorcy taxi drivers know everything, so no problem. It's a building next to Impact Forum 1. Once there it was easy, friendly staff, almost no people, social distancing marks everywhere. And gone in a jiffy. The lady who processed my form even noticed the move from one Immigration Region to another (which is probably why online failed). I have high hopes that now that my 90-day reporting is registered in the same region as my visa begin of January the online report will work.  , I did mine the other week, I parked up at CW, and took a taxi, cost me 75 baht, gave the driver 100, I would never have found the place, in and out in less than 5 minutes, taxi back to CW, again I would never have found my way back. Will do the same the next time, thankfully a pikey free experience. |

I took BTS to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat which is at the crossing with Chaeng Wattana Rd. From there I took a motorcy to Immigration CW, motorcy to MTT and motorcy back to BTS. It was a wet and misery day and I was more concerned about getting things done and quickly than how much travel would costs. I paid more than 300 Baht in total for the motorcy trips. On the other hand I left my home about 09:00 and after the 'field trip' to the boondocks I was back in more civilised areas, Ramaiii along the Chao Praya by 13:00. That's not bad. PS amazingly with trips like this while carrying my 7 kg backpack some still wonder why I don't go to the gym  |

, I left the house from the boonies of Bang Kapi, arrived at CW by 10, taxi to the back of nowhere, took about 15 minutes, no need to go to the gym, the hike up three flights of stairs to the carpark was enough exercise for me for one day, the mrs was most p**sed off, no toilets, taxi back to CW, back in the house before midday, just in time for an afternoon nap. |

So, almost time again and tried online once more.
Still same: rejected. With message "Please submit back to One Stop Serviced Office / Subdivision 3. กก.3 บก.ตม.1"
Well, did that last time and ended up doing in-person report in MTT. Guess I'll have to make the trip again to start the New Year with some fun in the boondocks.

Was at Immigration MTT again today. Arrived 09:02 and my receipt has 09:15. It was very, very quiet although at 09:02 I already got ticket A091.
Real difference with three months ago. I didn't write about it because my bum hurt a while from sitting and waiting there for THREE full hours.
Wondering why today so quiet. Maybe COVID-19 related?

Maybe the time of the year, maybe a case of 'O mi cron"? Went to Immigration MTT this morning. Near empty! Although I got A075 I could just walk through and was gone in less than 10 minutes. Receipt had printed 09:22 BTW the lady asked for my TM30 slip. I replied 'already showed it last time'. She said 'you're supposed to keep a copy in your passport.' I had one with me, so no problem. One learns something new every time it would seem  |

Car park empty, given a ticket and joined the queue, no tm 30 asked for.

It was that time again and strangely enough I start to enjoy my tracking into the boondocks far from civilisation. Had A049 and receipt stamped to 09:08. Now happily back along the Chao Praya |
