This mutation is extremely worrying. The Spanish Flu mutated after a year and caused carnage among the young. Lethal mutation that kills youngsters is the one thing I have dreaded sunce the beginning of this imbroglio.

In the Netherlands 'mink to man' cases were suggested but not confirmed earlier this year. All mink farms were checked and about 13 farms were 'cleaned' and closed because of infected minks. Unclear but it would seem there was more a case of man-to-mink. About 190 farms remain with about 800,000 minks (called 'nertsen' in Dutch). The number of farms and the total number of minks has been dwindling over the last few years as by the first of January 2024 it will be forbidden to breed minks. ADD: just saw a government note from 2020-10-22 reporting 68 farms with cases. www.rijksoverheid.nl/actueel/nieuws/2020/10/22/nieuwe-besmetting-covid-19-bij-nertsenbedrijfADD2: on 2020-08-27 the Dutch government decided to close all 120 remaining mink farms within the next six months. 180 million Euro has been reserved for compensation measures.

A bit weird is that a Dutchman has to explain to a Welshman using what to both is a foreign language Bestiality deals with sex between humans and animals (of the non-human kind). Breeding deals with (trying to) procreate, to produce offspring. PS although one might wonder at times an accepted fact is that sex between humans and animals will not produce offspring which has participating 'partners' as parents.

Yes difficult for the Welsh to comprehend...or those from Norfolk.

"sex between humans and animals will not produce offspring" Last time I checked humans were animals. ... and God created ... I'm surprised you didn't correct me on "produce offspring which has participating 'partners' as parents". Strictly speaking those who 'participate' in the attempt to create offspring could be adopted' as 'step-parents' or just be called such 'in loco parentis'.
