Mid October 2020 we had
"Thailand approves 30K baht tax deduction to stimulate domestic spending The campaign offers taxpayers income tax deductions of up to 30,000 baht when purchasing products and services with a value-added tax (VAT) component, but excludes alcoholic beverages, tobacco, lottery tickets, fuel, accommodation and air tickets."
I understand you need a clear receipt including VAT specification and company VAT number and whatever. I'm thinking of buying some good reading glasses which with my eyesight, thin glasses, with this and that might be 10,000. It doesn't matter too much but if the government pays 25% or 30% that's nice.
Anyone else here who'll make use of the program?

I would be most surprised if this is available for non-Thais. Previous stimulation hasn't been.

My understanding is that it is an allowable tax deduction, so you need to have some taxable income/be a tax payer to benefit (thai and non-thai).
