BTW "President Biden Addressed U.S. Troops In London During Foreign Trip" An American air force base in Suffolk called Mildenhall. How he travelled from Mildenhall to Carbis Bay in Cornwall is a mystery, at around 400 miles it is probably too far for a helicopter. One suspects London was in the equation somewhere, whether it was airspace, the M25 or Paddington, I'm unsure. Mind you, National Express from Cambridge would have been a good choice, cheap too. And he might have sailed from Harwich round the South coast to Newquay, the problem with that is all the illegal migrant boat traffic makes it slow going. |

Devil's Island ... full bodily inspection I think that's the place featured in the 1973 film, Papillion, starring Steve McQueen. It's been many decades since last I saw it, but I think it involves a character inserting a cigar tube filled with money up his backside for safe keeping - hence the now need for full bodily inspection. (If memory serves me right, that backside gets infected and the doctor operates on it and steals the money.) |
