Spain's Ciudad Real airport sold at auction for €10,000A group of international investors has won a bankruptcy auction for an abandoned airport in central Spain with a €10,000 (£7,000) offer - 100,000 times less than it cost to build. The investors were the only bidders for Ciudad Real airport, south of Madrid, completed during Spain's boom years. But it is not clear if the sale will go ahead as another buyer could still step forward outside of the auction process. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-33578949

Wow...I could turn that into the perfect house.
In the tunnel I would build a crazy golf course.
Around the canopies I would build a prison fence fill it with beds and rent that out to the government on a cost per bed basis to house criminals, also with a flat yearly fee for the land.
I would want a pool digging for free, plenty of prisoners to do that.
Infact I would build my own El Disney Land with the governments money and the prisoners labour.
Win, win and win again.
Thats just off the top of my head, the possibilities are endless.

Would make an interesting venue for the Big Mango Xmas party...
I suggest MJP leads a consortium for a bid
