I think something happened there (Waco). Can't quite remember what. Early 1990's, David Karesh (sp), commonly known as the Waco massacre or siege, it didn't end well. Some sort of religious cult, along the lines of Jim Jones in Jonestown, remember that one? OK everyone, line up for a nice cup of soup. I miss those days, we don't seem to have cults and sects any more, unless you count MAGA that is! When I was a kid it was Boy Scouts, my how we've grown! |

Jones was with the soup, Waco was armed resistance from 'free' Americans (if I remember correctly). The Trump cult is for freedom of choice as long as it is conform what the leader tells. Still a bit wishy-washy about the Trump vaccine but without that problem might die out.  |

^^^ It wasn't soup. It was either Kool-aid or Flavor-aid, laced with sedatives and cyanide. If he'd been patient and just given his followers lots of the sugar-laden drinks diabetes would have finished them in the end.

I don't wish to be pedantic at this time of the morning but since you have been, so shall I.  Soup can be hot or cold, it can contain one or many ingredients. I believe Turkish noodle soup is the lowest dish mentioned on the Glycemic index, it comprises water in which noodles have been boiled and is much loved,,,,allegedly. It therefore must follow that adding kool-aid, sedatives and cyanide to water must also be capable of being described as soup. Thank you m'lud, the defense rests. |
