I'm gonna post myself to Thailand. Might be quicker than trying to fly there like a normal person. It was possible to 'mail' children in the USA in the 1910s but only via rail mail. There was a time there were packet ships going from Britain to its colonies and back. There's also the expression of 'mail order bride' but the bride might have been a 'package' but never came in one.  Hiding in the wheel cage of a plane is done by fugitives and would be emigrants but getting a thick coat and a flask with oxygen is part of the preparations.
