Well, was at the Revenue Department next to BTS Ari and submitted my PIT-91 over 2021. I'll get a refund. I'd read they'd prefer 'Prompt Pay' instead of sending cheques. Since I've now got a Smart Phone and wanted to register for a few things anyway I went to Bangkok Bank last week to open a new account and register for a.o. Prompt Pay. So today when I got the receipt in my innocence I asked 'two weeks, one week?'. The lady smiled and replied 'more like three months'. I guess when all steps in the process have been flagged and due diligence done plus some extra checks for bloody foreigners THEN they'll promptly pay.

Pretty sure that Prompt Pay is not available for foreigners. At least, last time I checked, neither Bangkok Bank nor Krung Sri allowed it.

Last week I got both a new savings account and could register for PromptPay at Bangkok Bank. Mind you, they wanted not only my passport but also my workpermit, last tax declaration receipt, made a copy of the badge I've got from the IT group at RamaIII. I have lots of older documents scanned and on my notebook which I had with me. I was there for more than one hour but it was raining anyway. The young guy had help from two older colleagues and was very helpful getting BBL Bualuang installed on my new Smart Phone and get the SMS verification codes processed, link to my email, etc., etc. At the end we were all smiling and happy.

Mine is always credited to a KTB account within three weeks, KTB provides you with a money card for the purpose (no charge) then just go to an ATM and withdraw. easy and quick

Have to wait and see how things work out. It's not as if I have to start begging along the road if the 45k doesn't come quickly. BTW how are you set up for friendly lodgers?

They're always welcome rubl. Just bring proof of 15th booster shot and operation to permanently fasten face mask in place.

Regrettably we are tee-total as of nearly 3 years, but we have some crocodile thinners in the shed that may suit.

Today I received what looks like a (nearly) blank form PIR-90/PIR-91 for 2566 (known to some as the year 2022). My personal details already filled-in. I got the Thai version which is nice and a bit challenging. The interesting thing though is that I submitted the papers over 2021 end of March 2022 and indicated a refund. Haven't heard anything about it till now. Rather than trying the (Thai) helpdesk I may have to go to the regional office in the NSI Building in BangSue. Bugger and bother but I want my refund

Well, 31/03 and today I submitted my tax papers as a nice, well behaved citizen. The citizen is only for tax purposes, in other matters I'm just a legal alien.
