The readings would be the other way around if it was a doll. I shall follow your progress closely, mostly I'd like to understand if your quality of sleep improves because I'm considering going down the same path. I'm not a doctor still I would assume there would be underlaying ails which cause your sleep not to be restful enough. I would suggest to understand those underlaying ails first before you spend a few thousand quid (even if those were Ozzie $$). my 3-3/4 cents on the matter, uncle quack rubl

Which frankly I don't mind doing. I'm not sure if too many 12 year olds get it. Also being a male, hereditary, all that stuff...

Still I'm male, aging, all that stuff but sleep well and if I stay away from beer even my blood pressure behaves. When I check pulse / blood pressure early morning when I get up I'm mostly at pulse 60/min. Only a bit of diabetes in the family but that doesn't effect my sleep. Actually I blame my time in the Army. Even now I can lay down on a floor and sleep a short while. Only insist on a pillow or use my clothes as such.

Symptoms tend to show slowly, gradually to the point of one getting used to them. Most people don't want to run to a doctor with every minor ail (and doctors wouldn't like it either). Still some reading and simple selftests can help. Of course, this is theory. In practice things tend to be much less clear. Where to start, when to stop, do I really want to live forever?

I thought I had a sudden, unexplained outburst of likes. I told you that tantric yoga class would be good for your social life

Snoring is a major clue, dry mouth on waking another, feeling really tired when waking and all day is a third. An acid test is to take a sleeping pill, diazepam or similar +which means you will be less likely to wake up although it does nothing for the symptoms, if the other symptoms persist sleep apnea is a highly likely cause. BKk Hospital up here wants 24k to let me sleep in one of their beds all night whilst attached to their giant sports watch, and they don't even supply a nurse for overnight companionship, how rude is that! In the morning the results will be read to you by their MD of Sleep expert, excuse me for being skeptical but did he really get an MD in Sleep or can he just read a graph. Nah, I think I'll spend my 24k on a box and if it doesn't do the trick I can always use it to inflate balloons at Xmas.

It was via probes and Skype. Frankly I regret it. Now I have to renew my licence every year, my licence has a "M" rating, which means medical threat. I'm guessing my insurance premiums will sky rocket, and if I ever do get into a prang it'll be my fault no matter what, and insurance will be denied. What a f*cking nightmare. My advice, avoid doctors like the plague. Get a machine, monitor yourself, and tell nobody.

I have a degree in sitting whilst annoying people on social media forums. If the sleep doctor can get paid for telling patients to stick a vacuum cleaner up their noses, I must be able to monetize my skills too.

I'm lucky. As genuine Dutch uncle I don't need a degree to prove such.

I was gonna go for a hearing test today, but then I remembered the drama with my licence and apnea. The last thing I need on my licence is tired, deaf and blind.

And now I've developed a nervous disorder where I have to shout the words "Baht baht bedang" three times whenever I feel threatened.
