Seems to have had a busy life and probably will be much missed. Harmless git all in all.

Sad news Paul O'Grady aka Lilly Savage has died. Such a sad loss to one of the great drag queens with an acid tongue and a great entertainer. Have spent many a happy hour in the past at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern watching his drag shows.
Classic character, lucky in this day and PC age I never sued him for damages for the times his act split my sides due to laughing. Left some great memories though. Probably filling the house with Lilly at his new cosmic address with his talent and acidic comedy...

To be honest I don't remember ever seeing the Lilly Savage act, mainly due to seeing very little British TV for the last 30 years. Not his fault but when I did see or hear him his voice used to grate on me. My loss not his going by his popularity.
