Alright you lot. I'm a week from retirement, and I'm determined to lose 10 kg asap. I'll even post my progress. As long as it doesn't involve exercise, dieting, or giving up alcohol.... I'm in..

And now the kid starts cooking crumbed fish in the air fryer. The smell has gone right through the house. Really?

As it happens.......I shed a whopping 2.8 kilo's in just three days, honestly.
I went down to my wife's mum's house and worked at DIY, making outside repairs from 6 am until 6 pm each day. This involved digging a one foot deep trench and laying (as in installing) water pipe over 60 meters. I ate nothing but fruit during the day with a one decent meal in the evening, voila, excess weight has been shed and mums house well and truly buggered in the process, she may never be able to use her bathroom ever again.

Have you considered having a leg surgically removed, that should be worth a few kilo's and after all, you've got two.

Oldie.
I suggest that in retirement you give fishing a miss...
Missing Australian fisherman's body found in crocodile Published 4 hours ago Share Saltwater crocodile Sydney The remains of an Australian man who vanished while fishing with friends have been found inside a crocodile. Kevin Darmody, 65, was last seen at Kennedy's Bend - a well-known saltwater crocodile habitat in a remote part of northern Queensland - on Saturday. After a two-day search of the area, police euthanised two large crocodiles and found human body parts. Police said it was a "tragic ending" for Mr Darmody. A formal identification process will be carried out. Mr Darmody was an experienced fisherman and a well-known member of the community in Cape York. The two crocodiles, which measured 4.1m (13.4 ft) and 2.8m in length, were shot dead on Monday about 1.5 km (0.9 miles) from where he was last seen. Human remains were found inside only one of the reptiles, but wildlife officers believe both were involved in the incident. The fishermen with Mr Darmody at the time did not see the attack, but reported hearing him yell, followed by a loud splash. "I raced down… but there was no sign of him, just his thongs [flip-flops] on the bank and nothing else," his friend John Peiti told the Cape York Weekly. Crocodiles are common in Australia's tropical north, but attacks are rare. Mr Darmody's death is just the 13th fatal attack in Queensland since record-keeping began in 1985." www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-65446354

Eating nothing and doing nothing means you don't add calories but you don't burn any either, you have to do both things.

Eating nothing and doing nothing means you don't add calories but you don't burn any either, you have to do both things. So walking from the loungeroom to the fridge doesn't count? You have a point. Normally at work I average 27000 steps per day. I gotta get that back into the equation.

So, exercise has gone from 27000 feet per day to 2000. Sleep has gone from 2 hours to 9 hours per night. I think we've found the culprit.
