Why do they call Donald "Trump" and Harris "Kamila"? I'd either call them both by their first names or surnames. Trump and Harris, or Donald and Kamila. Effin favouritism I reckon.

I like Don, but that's just me. I prefer him to a woman of colour who can fake every worldly accent with her hand on the nuclear button. But then again I know nothing about finance, security, medicine....

Where the hell do they dredge this mob up? I know blokes at the local who could run a pub raffle better than that mob.

I have a strong view that counting should start after polling closes in Hawaii rather than have a winner before they vote.
But that's just me huh?

Odd is it not that Trump has spent 4 years ranting the last election was rigged, yet within 4 to 5 hours he happily accepts this elections results.

Trump is due to be sentenced and the judge still has the ability to issue a jail term. Trump would get that overturned via the Supreme Court of course but what a bitch that would be, President inaugurated then carted off to jail.....only in my dreams.

Inflation will now be brought to you courtesy of messrs Trump and Starmer, expect things to cost much more and for debt levels to do the unimaginable, increase even further. Pay attention here because there will be a quiz later. US inflation was falling nicely under Biden, the problem is the voters weren't seeing the effect of those efforts on their pocket books, because there's a time lag between falling numbers and the population seeing the effects of them. This means that Trump need do nothing on this front and pretty soon the voters will feel that effect and of course, the glory will go to Trump for whatever he said he did to achieve that. So what will he do? He'll cut taxes and everyone will associate that with things getting better....yeah, we voted for the right person they will say, he's making America great again. But he's also going to increase import tariffs, which ultimately means that things will cost more and that will more than wipe out the tax cut gains. And because he's cut taxes, that means Federal debt will increase....did you know a godzillion is a billion trillion zillions, I didn't? He'll also cut interest rates, with or without Jerome's blessing (I'm betting Jerome will be toast in under 6 months), which means the cost of servicing Federal debt levels will fall, yeah Trump, he's reducing the deficit! Hmm, but reducing interest rates prematurely means inflation stops falling and stuff becomes more expensive again, didn't we already say that. Meanwhile, across the pond: Starmer may or may not have inherited a 22 billion fiscal black hole but he's about to turn it into a 100 bill black hole and unleash a program of tax and spend....apparently, you can spend your way out of debt, I never knew this but obviously my wife does when she goes to the mall. Having pushed UK debt levels to record highs, he's now taken that money and given large amounts of it away to his pals in the unions who keep his party in office. What could possibly go wrong, if they run out of money to give to people, just raise taxes and get some more, simples. Anyway, if you keep giving folks money they do odd things, they spend it and this causes prices to rise. That means interest rates will have to rise to keep the new inflation under control, which in turn will cost more money to service government debt. I hope that makes everything clear, and now for the quiz I mentioned: The world record for throwing a particular kitchen appliance is held by a Swede, he threw it 14 feet 7 inches......what appliance did he throw?
