Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest. Please go about your day as though nothing happened, normal service has been resumed.

No, just listening to a few JC albums through my earphones, totally oblivious to the outside world. As a life long fan, listening to Old Golden Throat is always a great way to start the day.

I know how you feel, I'm exactly the same way with AC/DC. More seriously though, he does indeed have a great voice.

For me it's Freddy Mercury and Queen closely followed by Bands of the British military.

Aussie music is absolute tripe, even the "good" stuff. Totally over rated, just like our horrible beer. For me it's English music all the way. Genesis (Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins), Deep Purple in their various forms, The Police, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Dire Straits.... You get the idea. And English beer.

A long time ago I briefly had a girlfriend from Melbourne. Never knowingly had an Australian sausage.

Perhaps I come across too many of tbe wrong sort, but it does feel unusual to have somebody making complimentary comments about things English. Thank you Oldie.

Alas the very anti English commentator took umbrage at being chided, threw a hissy fit and retreated to the EU zone. Yes thanks oldie for your comments...

A long time ago I briefly had a girlfriend from Melbourne. Never knowingly had an Australian sausage. Australian sausages look and taste like some burnt tube of sawdust that the dog has mauled. English sausages, as you know, are firm, tasty, juicy, thick.... Your Aussie girlfriend didn't know what she was missing out on.
