Aussie music is absolute tripe, even the "good" stuff. Totally over rated, just like our horrible beer. For me it's English music all the way. Genesis (Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins), Deep Purple in their various forms, The Police, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd.... You get the idea. And English beer. Kevin Bloody Wilson is a great favourite of mine as well as Johnny Cash. Yanni gives an interesting presentation on the Didgeridoo, cop an earful of this...note also the second clip and the performance from Quinto Antonia. A fine Aboriginal name I'm sure.  |

Actually I'll have to admit I've never heard much of "the golden larynx" Johnny Cash.
Until I heard this song played by a Kiwi duet live. And I'll have to admit, I've never seen a crowd of strangers raise their hands to a song.
Actually, I'd call it a religious experience...
