So Uruguay pop 4,233,108 beat Brazil pop 220,999,999 (figures not guaranteed but near enough).
OK they lost Neymar but still, over 60% possession and not a shot on goal is not good. A few yellow cards bandied about too.
I don't usually take notice of South America but this caught the eye. Takes the mind off the domestic stuff for a while.

Anybody understand what rott's talking about, he's not fallen off the wagon again I hope? This being the Football forum I omitted the word. But don't feel too despondent, the assistant noodle soup lady from next door to the coffee gaff (the one who is available as a mia noi) had her thyroid done a while ago and after 2 weeks back in Issaan was right as rain. So there's hope yet, all may not be lost. |

I've had the ultrasound which reported numerous matted follicular tumours which is a common finding in over 50 year olds, 50% of over 50's have them, 60% of over 60's do, and so on. The radiology report Impression was that they were not typical of being benign. A different radiologist yesterday however was a doctor and he took a biopsy via an FNA (needle sample), he said he rated the probability as Low, based on what he could see (they rate them High/Medium/Low). That was very welcome news and the first time anyone has said similar, biopsy results due on 31st. Stay tuned. |

Speaking of falling off the wagon, guess what I had for lunch today.
Yep, bangers and mash and a pint of ale. Wasn't all that bad actually. Ok, back to the treadmill.

The population of Uruguay is apparently only 3,423,108, sorry about that. So Brazil has over 60 times their numbers.
Might as well just facking invade them and have done with it.
