Tried to put Windows 10 on today. It was a nice smooth process until it failed on rebooting. I thought to myself .... microsoft (even though I had a backup)....but they had their bases covered. Rolled back seamlessly to 8.1. Nicely done.
I think my problem was caused by having a ram drive with temp files on which I forgot to revert. I will try again but they deserve credit for the way it handled things.
