At the latest Trump rally there was a shooting. One rally attendee were dead, the suspected shooter dead. One rally attendee in serious condition. Donny Trump got his ear scratched it would seem and bleeding from it got rushed to the hospital. The shooting is being investigated as an attempted assassination.
My thoughts with the seriously wounded person, hope for a speedy and full recovery.
Cynical me wonders about the shooter and motifs.

Early indication is that this is a lone wolf, the source said, but the situation is fluid and the investigators want to be absolutely certain that this person had no support and that no one knew what was coming.

Let's not get into that or I'll post the rubbish posted by MAGA fools and GOP politicians.
BTW we see conspiracy theories from 'that's what you get from the Dems' to 'Trump staged reality show'.
The truth? Seems a 'lone wolf', similar to other shootings you have near daily in America. The weapon used seems to have been an AR-15 like semi-automatic rifle. That's the type some Americans think it's their God-given and constitutional right to own.

In reality, the bullet appears to have hit the teleprompter, a piece of which shattered and flew off and hit his ear. My guess is that within a week or so, the story will mutate to include several bullets that whizzed by his head and he dodged just in time, possibly a few bursts of machine gun fire and even a few grenades too! |

Interesting, I read that Talemax Teleprompters, based in Orlando, is the biggest supplier of teleprompters in the US and the sole supplier to the US government. Anyway, they issued a warning to all customers that, under the right conditions, their product might explode and send fragments flying and injure anyone standing nearby. So it seems that the supposed assassination attempt was nothing more than an opportunistic hoax, designed to get Trump more votes.
As for the bloke on the roof that got shot. Well, he was simply a peeping tom who'd drilled a hole in the roof to spy into the ladies toilet. The police sniper spotted this and got upset because his wife was using the toilet at the time so he decided to teach the chap a lesson.
You see, not everything is what it seems.
