Tried it once, after a couple of hours I was starving so knocked up a bacon butty.

So I had a healthy chill out day yesterday and fasted - just apples and som-o. Felt much better for it. For lunch today though I had padgrapao muu sap, som tam and sticky rice. Didn't feel quite so good in the head after the sticky rice and som-tam - probably all the sugar they dump in there plus sticky/gluteinous rice probably kicks off too. Always interesting to see what the reaction is to the food you start eating again after a clean slate. Padgrapao and white ice was fine. Love somtam and sticky rice to taste but not convinced how healthy it is

I get low blood pressure so depriving myself of nutrients is not advisable. I know a few who combined fasting with a plastic body wrap to induce weight loss. Not for me, I also enjoyed a big lunch at work whilst my Muslim colleagues were on a fast.
Not only fasting but religions who dictate what you should eat/drink ffs. I like pork and alcohol same as everyone else. Only a citizen of the pampered affluent west would consider voluntarily going without food.
What a stupid thing to do.
I am not including those fasts as part of religious observation here, that is another kettle of lunacy altogether.
