No my wife is not Isaan, Bangkok.
She has sort of brother, not related, but raised with her.
A son of a black US marine in the Vietnam war, mother family.
He worked as a pimp in Patpong.
Fair enough, he had no legal status.
Aunt bought him, by the usual means, Thai citizenship.
He sold his identity card!
Can I say I hate anyone; no!
Now he is dieing of cancer.
I have many reasons to dislike this guy.
Most I have never revealed to my wife.
Now she asks me for a large amount of money, to help a man who is going to die.
Well I am going to die too!
Sorry, not my problem!

To buy Thai citizenship is quite weighty these days. Not if you were born in Thailand and have connections. My son is Thai, but also has a British birth certificate as well as the Thai one. At least he is spared 90 day reports! |

Not sure what the point of that comment was. I am not ashamed to be a farang, and it must be better than being a kek! No I live my own life, care little about perceptions of me. Being a farang in Bangkok is not a burden. |
