To be expected - even if most aren't in any danger.
I'm guessing that all principle Western countries have noted the same advisories.

Thailand in particular Bangkok has as long as I can remember had a use caution when travelling flag. South Thailand always red flagged.

Will carry on life largely as usual.
That said I'm more mindful that I don't want to go to Erawan area and Ratchaprasong unless I have to. It seems red shirts, yellow shirts, terrorists etc always target this area when they want to cause violence. As a father with a family to support - why take the risk?

Well it must be all of some 5 years since I ventured into deepest Bangkok. Used to go regularly for gainful employment and a phone in radio programme I had on Saturdays some 8 years ago. Wouldn't know the place now. Would no doubt be an experience akin to the one in the image below.
