Fantastic achievement considering they were firmly rooted to the bottom of the table in the early weeks of the season, during a 630 day transfer embargo when they couldn't transfer in full time players

Following on from last night's football match where the mighty Aston Villa crushed and relegated the lowly Bolton Wanderer's, does anyone believe that a season ticket to watch Bolton play third stream football next season would be a good investment?
Also, if I bought 2 Bolton season tickets, would I then be one of the new shareholders?
Answers on a postcard, please Fletch.

Funny enough I was just discussing that with Arrow on his yacht last night and asked him if he thought buying the club would be a good investment.
His reply, "Nah they are shit."

Season Summary:
Good news: club is still in existence and avoided being wound up. Bad news: relegation.
Hopefully the new ownership gives a chance to rebuild. What a complete tosser Ken Anderson was. Who buys a club then runs out of money and f***ks up so quickly?
Not paying anyone at the club for weeks on end. Complete tw*t and disgrace to football

THUNDER BOLT Bolton clash with Brentford called off after players strike over unpaid wagesTalks between Championship club, players and EFL fail to resolve dispute so match against the Bees has been postponed By Duncan Wright 26th April 2019, 10:42 pm Updated: 27th April 2019, 12:04 am Talks between the club, the players and the EFL failed to resolve the problem - and Saturday's clash against the Bees has been postponed while there are major doubts over whether the final game of the season at Nottingham Forest will be played. And the EFL have now hit the Trotters with a misconduct charge which could see them hit with a points deduction for next season when they will begin life in League One. Players and coaches have not been paid for four weeks, and they have given up listening to the excuses from current Bolton owner Ken Anderson and prospective new owner Laurence Bassini. Former Watford chief Bassini has had over a week to come up with the money to pay the salaries and has yet to do so, and the EFL have still not granted approval for his takeover to go through. .... www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8950150/bolton-brentford-off-players-strike/

Bassinni is hardly a shining example of virtue when one reads in depth concerning his fiscal matters. I would suggest that he (Bassini) is in truth a totally irresponsible financial pundit who is on but a nodding acquaintance with the truth and would without a doubt cross the road to avoid truth if he was to see truth approaching on the same side of the road he was walking along. Sport in its many varied forms is shown yet again to be suffering from an attack of financial blight, it's about money, not a sport. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurence_Bassini

Now the shoe is on the other foot.....amusing to me.

Sad day for Bolton What a complete and utter c*nt Ken Anderson has been since taking over in 2016. Puzzles me how someone can f**k up a club so quickly. Didn't he have a business plan? Completely incompetent tw*t.
Trying to blame Bassini? "Little choice other than to put Bolton in administration" ??? If Bassini didn't exist they would still be in adminstration because of Anderson's doing. Bassini is guilty of failing to step in at the last minute as he said he would, but that in no way excuses Anderson's reign, for which he should take full responsibility.
------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bolton placed into administrationBolton have been placed into administration after a High Court winding-up hearing and are likely to face a 12-point deduction next season. The club have faced huge financial difficulties this season, which has seen the players striker over unpaid wages - subsequently forcing Bolton to forfeit their game against Brentford last month.
At the hearing on Wednesday, Ken Anderson, the current Bolton owner, was critical of Bassini and said he was left with "little or no choice" other than to put the club into administration.
Anderson said: "Mr Bassini, regrettably his continued time wasting and empty promises have caused a great deal of heartache and frustration for the staff and supporters alike.
"It now leaves the Eddie Davies Trust and I with little or no choice other than for one of us to place the businesses into administration.
"This had been a massive disappointment to me as I understand the serious implications administration will bring to the businesses. But I have been left with no alternative, as this course of action will preserve the football club and all of its proud history". www.skysports.com/football/news/11672/11714423/bolton-placed-into-administration-and-face-likely-12-point-deduction

Bolton set up food bank for staff who have not been paid in several weeksBy Chris Reidy Last Updated: 14/05/19 9:10pm Bolton Wanderers have set up an emergency food bank for non-playing staff who have not been paid after the club went into administration. Local businesses and charities have donated food and essentials to staff said club chaplain Phil Mason. Bolton's employees have not been paid for several weeks, while the players have not had their March and April salaries. Mason told Sky Sports News: "Fortunately through the chaplaincy and community trust we've tried to set up as much support as we can. "We've managed to provide food provisions for staff so at least they are not having to worry about feeding their families and other provisions such as nappies and wipes for children that can cost a lot of money." A court hearing last week heard that the club owes more than £1m in taxes and they will also start next season with a 12-point penalty because of their financial woes. www.skysports.com/football/news/11672/11720180/bolton-set-up-food-bank-for-staff-who-have-not-been-paid-in-several-weeks

=============================================== Chinese interest in Championship club Bolton Sky sources: Interested party linked to Chinese club Shandong Luneng By Sky Sports News Last Updated: 10/05/19 9:23pm
Sky Sports News understands former Bolton head of science Mark Taylor is assisting a Chinese group who are interested in buying the troubled Championship club.
Taylor, who was part of Sam Allardyce's backroom staff at the club, has been working with a group connected with a Chinese Super League side for some months now and is hoping to introduce them to the club once it is put into administration.
The Chinese Super League club in question is thought to be Shandong Luneng, who signed Marouane Fellaini from Manchester United earlier this year.
There are likely to be other investors wanting to take over the club but Sky Sports News understands the group from China have demonstrated serious intent about getting the club back on the right road.
