Yes...that flight was cradle seat....13.5 hrs of hell...mind you their herringbone seats on the way out were crap too. Never flown them again. Worse than the herringbone are those coffin style seats on Etihad, lovely food, drink and lounges but that seat freaks me out. Have you tried (British Airways) where the seat faces the back ? Yes its p**s poor....Qatar are my favourite....but right now using Malaysian cos they are cheap as chips.

Longest flights that I've had to endure were as such:
1/. Bangkok to Buenos Aires on Malaysian Airlines. Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur > Kuala Lumpur to Cape Town (stay on the plane for new passengers)> Cape Town to Johannesburg (stay on the plane for new passengers and re-fuel) > Johannesburg to Buenos Aires. With seats that would have been too small for Twiggy, I got off the plane in total agony and then crawled straight into a business meeting. Never again.
2/. RAF Brize Norton (Oxfordshire) to Ascension Islands on an RAF Tristar. Brize Norton to Dakar (Senegal) > 4 hours on the scorching Tarmac in full combats while the plane was cleaned and refueled > Dakar to Ascension Islands. Long time ago, can't remember the full flight time but I do remember that we passed through so many time zones that we had 3 breakfasts in a row.
Nowadays I'm getting too old to endure a long haul flight in cattle class, so wherever possible I will upgrade.

Years ago....did a Los Angeles to Sydney non-stop. Ungodly long. SFO - Sydney → In the center of the center section.....The gal in front of me popped a sleeping pill and reclined her seat pinning my legs straight.....Nobody could wake her up and the flight was full.....Middle seat with people sleeping on each side of me ...... A VERY LONG and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE flight.....16-17 hours......

Six-and-a-half hours...
That's a relief compared to many long-haul.
Tried air Asia once, they make it feel long haul. Never again. Air Asia.....
Don't get me started.
