Trouble nodding off? Only getting a few hours a night? Well this thread should help, where we keep a sleepy, slumbering eye on how well hung the UK parliament is likely to be in . . . whenever the hell it is, using the BBC poll tracker and soon that excitable old boy, Peter Snow. www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/poll-trackeraaaahhhhh, yai-yai-yai . . . is it bedtime yet?

The Lib Dems could almost find themselves wiped out, a lot of displeasure with their traditional voters about how Clegg sold himself out. My friend, who is my local MP back home could certainly lose his seat, which would be a real shame as he's what you call a real proper local politician, not some dropped in careerist with no political ideology.
Politics though is dull these days, not many great characters left, Dennis Skinner though is a legend

If so who you voting for?
P.S. That graph you posted there is nothing like what was shown in The Mirror on a few days ago.

I did see one previous poll asking Lib Dems who they would vote for if voting strategically. A lot said Conservative just to keep Labour out. A Labour SNP alliance is to me an odd marriage. One does not want to be part of the UK and the other will scrap a vote on Europe. My cousins husband's friend was applying for an SNP candacy. 1 question scuppered him. Would you follow the party whip if it went against your constituents wishes. He said no.

Anyone see the debate of yesterday, the one which Dave was scared to attend?
Amazing offer by Nicola Sturgeon to make steady Eddy PM in a hung parliament. Not surprisingly it's made headlines in the right wing papers, just what they wanted for the country to see Ed being manipulated by the SNP.

So while there are those who dread the prospect of a Labour government propped up by the SNP, The Scottish Labour leader has claimed there will be a clean sweep for the SNP, which ironically will save DC doing any packing this week. Clegg could be on the dole without a seat too.

Clegg will be deservedly out of a job, Jim Murphy is an absolute <k**t>, I remeber him from my NUS exec days. Labour and Tory parties have nothing to be proud of, self interested career politicians with no real ideology.
Dark days for the UK really

The only bloke ever to walk through the Houses of Parliament with honest intentions was Guy Fawkes.

Do want see the treacherous Clegg lose his seat. How can you be a socialist leaning party and get into bed with that bellend Cameron?

I collected my slip, went into the booth and looked at the names/parties. Stood there for what seemed like ages. . Then wrote none of the above on it.That was over 20 years ago. Since then I adopted an attitude of voting changes now't.
