I suppose my unfulfilled dream is to circumnavigate the globe one of these days. I'd settle for flying, but overland and sea would be preferable. I'd like to see all seven continents at some point - but I wouldn't go to the Poles without good reason. I reckon they should be unspoilt as much as possible.
I don't feel the onset of Old Father Time yet, but then again, are we not guilty of putting off things till tomorrow?

Dream holiday, see the world. Friends of ours have visited Antarctica and said it's truly spectacular. Not a cheap trip considering you only visit in the daytime for 2 days and sleep on a boat.

Don't laugh.
I had a dream concerning learning to play the bagpipes
Sadly however the time has passed and I know I don't have the puffing power needed, indeed the mind is still strong but the body is weak.
However on a positive note I did make one dream come true and became proficient in using a ''potters wheel'' and throwing pots successfully , mind you the first 10 or so products would not have looked out of place at a Dali or Picasso exhibition.

Never being able to thank my father for all that he taught me. He passed away back in August 1976. I was in the military & in Japan at the time. US & N. Korea almost went to war due to a group of NK troops crossing the DMZ & chopping down a couple trees blocking their view & also chopping up a couple SK & US troops in the process.
I was on emergency leave with Pri 1 transport capability but it still took me 3 days to leave Japan since "everything" was heading West should a shooting war start. I finally left on a Pan Am flight.
When I arrived at home he was still alive but in an induced coma so his brain & heart may heal better than if not. He was brought out of the coma...did good for 3 days then passed away.
We just didn't have the chance to have that talk.
Y'all may not think that talk is a dream but at the time I sure did. Mind you we did talk heaps about all sorts of stuff as men do...but that one chance slipped away.
Don't ever let that happen to you....

Electric bagpipes these days. No blowing required!

Bloody hell can you imagine a lone piper advancing on the enemy trailing a whooping great extension lead?

A true hero sad to see that the freedom, the heritage the culture the lifestyles that he and his comrades in arms fought for now being destroyed as Europe and the U.K is slowly but surely being occupied with so called refugees.
