Prostate cancer is the sixth-fastest increasing cancer in males, with incidence rates rising by around a sixth (16 per cent) in the last decade. Robert de Niro is just one celebrity who’s discussed his battle with the disease. But why is it so common? “It’s a hormone-associated cancer, and the prostate is an active organ - cancer simply tends to be more frequent in such organs,” reveals Professor Anthony Miller, an expert in prostate cancer at the University of Toronto. Interesting article. Cancer for men doesn't seem to grab the same attention that it does for women. Horrible for both, but generally mens' needs seem to lag far behind the attention given to women.

Interesting article. Cancer for men doesn't seem to grab the same attention that it does for women. Horrible for both, but generally mens' needs seem to lag far behind the attention given to women. I think that's cos we don't like to bother Doctors.
