Last year I campaigned hard for Scottish Independence, knowing that we wouldn't win. I campaigned hard as I wanted to ensure that the defeat wasn't decisive. That's a tad irrelevant at the moment - here's my point I knew we would lose, even when the rogue poll had us ahead. After the election, plenty of Independence minded people could not believe that they lost. "Everyone I know voted Yes," was the refrain. The key statement there is "everyone I know." What happened was that birds of a feather flocked together. No went that way, Yes went this - and as always, it was the silent majority that spoke. I'm watching the glee of the Jeremy Corbyn camp - they actually believe that Saturday was a new dawn, and that the Left will rise again in the UK. The next General Election is going to be a Turkey shoot for the Tories. And then, we'll hear it all again - "everyone I knew blah blah." That's the danger of online echo chambers - you start to believe the impossible, incredible, and unbelievable. Then the silent majority speaks - and then you are <duck>ed.

Reminds me of years ago in the land of Oz, it was one of those WTF moments when Little Johnny got voted out. No Ozzy I know of could believe it. As for Jeremy, best of luck to him, the only real Labour candidate, the rest were closet Tories. Nu Labur, yeah right, Saint Tony and his spin doctors, Peter Mandelson and Alistair Campbell, youre havin a laff. Jock independance, , independant from what, they seem hell bent on joining Euro La La land. Norway has it right.

Independent from Westminster would be good start.
There are fair few that agree Norway has it right - I could be persuaded.
