For those of you that haven't seen it - the guy on the motorcycle had already broken a police cordon, so terminator stepped in to sort him out.

The biggest crime of this video is that it was caught on camera and put on the web for everyone in the world to see. Yes it's great to see these funny moments but it gets to a stage where the police are filmed for everything they do. If that incident had happened in a Western country, the copper would be hung out to dry just for doing his job (albeit a bit zealously), after all the guy on the bike did just run a checkpoint. Police do need flexibility.
I watched an English reality police show recently and it seemed to me that England is now policed by robots. All stiff and formal rulebook coppers, not one of them had a 'clip round the ear, get away home and don't do it again' in them and it's because of the frecken cameras everywhere.
If it gets like this in BKK then I might as well burn my driving licence because bribes won't be an option anymore.

I thought that was supposed to bee what they were suposed to police..rules....so about time they started enforcing them on themselves. Cameras cut both ways...they use them on us for just a few k over the limit, only fair we use ours on them. One day you might actually need a driver's licence in Thailand.

I remember years ago seeing something similiar in Suk soi 31.
The guy should be thankful he wasnt in Amerika, would have been shot on sight, the SWAT team and Navy Seals would have been deployed, no need for an investigation, its just the way it is.
In the PC gone mad UK, he would probably been awarded thousands of the taxpayers well earned, sent on a foriegn holiday with his family to help him recuperate, his council flat (that he lives in rent free) would be refurbished and kitted out with free WiFi and Sky TV.
