This is not a spat, please believe me.
Life is mundane.
We as a species do one thing that no other creature does; work for money.
We use the money to try to satisfy an escape from reality.
Some choose travel, a holiday, others watch television (no most) there is also the drug of your choice, but after addiction, it never reawakens the euphoria.
When working you focus on the job, it resolves the issue, you might hate it, but it is there to be done.
Plus the money allows you to escape briefly from the mundane.
I have been an actor and a teacher; not much difference really.
Curtain up, yo perform a role, countless times. There might have been emotion once, but that soon disappears as you can act, mask it, play the part.
A class of children want to be entertained in their learning, not bored sick. You perform, have done it for years, an expert. Try to generate enthusiasm and excitement for what is for them a new revelation, not for you! Acting in the mundane reality.

What is up for discussion is up to the person initiating the discussion. It is not up to the person being talked about unless a law is broken. Who rattled your cage? THis is a forum. It is for the members to decude what they discuss. If someone wants not to participate they do have the option of ignoring or leaving. I will discuss books and authors and pseudonoms whenever I wish and it is not up to anyone to stop me (other than a moderator if I brreak some law). THere are forums with protected specii on them. You seem as if you would be happier in one of them at the moment. Of course it may be relevant to decide if either of these subjects is worthy of discussion. |
