I see a few complaints about the forum being cumbersome and that's holding the forum back - my first suggestion is that the forums should be "locked," open. There's a few times I accidentally click on the orange bar above the sub-forum and it disappears. Which then leads me to panic and wonder if I've wiped out the Nag's Head and all the rest of it. I don't want to break the internet. TIT |

With six different pubs its often tricky to find my mates....and I have to have a beer or three in each one. What was I saying....? You were just about to get the next round in Oh stop this Fletch,. This is getting ridiculous expecting a Scot to get a round in. |

In all seriousness, in 1993 I was invited to Stanley Barracks (Hong Kong) for a drink in the NAAFI.
At that time the 1st Battalion Black Watch was the resident Battalion and above the bar was a massive plaque with the words ,ENGLISHMEN, DO YOUR DUTY, in other words, get the round in..
