I see a few complaints about the forum being cumbersome and that's holding the forum back - my first suggestion is that the forums should be "locked," open.
There's a few times I accidentally click on the orange bar above the sub-forum and it disappears. Which then leads me to panic and wonder if I've wiped out the Nag's Head and all the rest of it.
I don't want to break the internet.

Can't agree on that TB, the collapsible tool bars are one of the best features in my opinion, saves me having to scroll through stuff that I don't want to read.

Yes I use the collapsible tool bars to make the forum easier to navigate and less cumbersome too.
Open to ideas on how to make the forum less cumbersome though....

Sounds like Mr.Blether needs a little help with his IT again :BB I'm not actually that bothered - however, I bet the collapsible bar confuses loads of folk. And is likely to put of newbies. I've chatted to a couple of current members that don't post cos the site is "cumbersome." |

In my view the collapsible tool bar is akin to the index in a book . A great tool for finding what you want without having to peruse all the threads.  |

I didn't even know we could do that.
Quite like the feature in fact....maybe an arrow or something on the right would alert people?

TV has a plus and minus on their collapsible toolbar but I don't think that ProBoards offers this style of collapsible toolbar. I will have to have a hunt around the ProBoards forums to see if I can find the solution. |
