Sorry to here that. I thought that "dogs" following you around and sniffing after you was one of your main reasons for moving to Thailand in the first place. Sorry to hear the problem has popped up here too One solution might be to spray the Somchais with aniseed so the dogs follow them instead. Pernod smells of aniseed, the dogs are not the only ones that would follow the smell of that smooth drink. Yes but do you really want French people following you around?

Thanks to all for the advice, however my upcountry neighbour solved my problem, this morning he rocked up at the house with a duck gun, tried it out this evening, worked like a charm.
