So the UK messed around with its clocks again yesterday. If you're in the UK you'll probably be happier that you have more daylight time now since the weekend. From Thailand it's just plain annoying I missed part of the football yesterday as I didn't realise the UK had put the clocks back over the weekend. Only just realised actually a few minutes ago when I was looking to see how the European markets were doing. It also means that from next week the EPL games will be 8pm, 10pm and 12 midnight - making me stay out later 'bout time they put a stop to this anachronistic practice.... perhaps if UK gave Scotland its indendence? That way our lives would be simpler and the Scottish farmers can do whatever they do on cold wet mountainsides

Only if you want dead kids.
I clearly remember walking to school on pitch black mornings.
I don't have a problem with England going to a different time zone - I do have a problem with Scottish kids being subjected to nighttime conditions when it's avoidable.

I also remember coming home in the late afternoon where it was dark because of the changes in the clocks. There was extra light in the morning before school and before it was needed by us but less light in the afternoons/ evenings when it was needed. Street lamps that can be turned on and off at the right time are probably a better answer It also makes it miserable for old folk living alone when it "goes dark early" making communities less sociable in the evenings. Unfortunately most people's employers also don't change their hours to fit in with the revised daylight times. No doubt if someone researched it probably increases the suicide rates when it goes dark early. That said these days being in Thailand it's all history. I would prefer they didn't mess around though though, and particularly with my football
