As with others on here, my choice of drink is dependent of the company that I keep or the location/situation of the night. Most people on this board are aware that I lean towards Jamesons as my favorite tipple but not every bar stocks it and they don't sell it at 7-11.
On Saturday night I was drinking Blend 285 with one of the wife's nephews and a few of his friends, it wasn't feasible to trek all the way to Foodland to get the Jamesons and I'm not going to spend around 4 grand for 2 bottles of Black Label from the local 7-11 when everyone else in the group drinks 285 as their usual tipple. Granted, when I got home I did pour myself a few Jamesons as nightcaps.
I can drink most things but I refuse to drink lao khao, I don't have a problem with handling it or the taste but after drinking it I can still taste it 2 days later. So although I can name my poison I will try a slug of anything.

My ex works for a Wine & Spirits importer - I was talking to her the other day and it looks like I/we can be supplied at wholesale prices. Offices in BKK and CM among others - That's one benefit of still being on speaking terms with you ex. I'm waiting on the price coming through for Glengoyne Single Malt and red wine(s) - they stock Australian wines among others. I like the Glengoyne. I climbed Dumgoyne many times as a lad for the scree running. A good spot for mushy picking too.

Scree running - what a sport. I'm booked in to The Drovers Inn for a night this month - great pub on the West Highland Way - do you know it, OL?
