Gents I give you and salute, the humble roll. None of yer poncy foreign baguette rubbish, this is the stuff that built an empire. Versatile, a sausage roll on a roll, chip butties, Walkers Salt n Vinegar on a roll, Monster Munch on a roll, is there no end to this Eighth Wonder of The Worlds uses? Honourable mention in dispatches must go to the never mentioned on here, Colmans Mustard, in fact many may cast their minds back to their student days, a roll with Colmans, a roll up and a cuppa, what a way to start the day. Sausage roll on a roll was number 1 at my school canteen. Haven't had one for years. Am drooling rgs

Good gawd woman, please dont tell me this is some union BS, here in Bkk we get home delivery 24/7, and no need to pay tips or extra surcharge. When my brother came over from Oz he couldnt believe it, beer finished he says, will go up to the sorry shop and get somemore, are you mad I asked, where are you going, sit down, quick phone call, and 2 minutes later Somcahi junior was at the door, cold beers, bags of ice and munchies, .

Stuff a load of these in one, perfect after a night on the lash. Years ago in a previous life, I well remember having to go to all night service stations, it would always be full of people smiling and laughing, buying boxes of Quavers eating 6 Mars Bars one after the other etc, poor cassier didnt have a clue, I thought to myself, the Munchies must be kicking in now, .

The only 24/7 "eateries" here are McChucks and HJ's(aka Burger King.) Hardly food of the gods.

I've even dipped a heavily buttered one in here, fabulous as the butter melts in the sumptuous sauce.

^^^ wow year ago when I used to do the concert circuit and festivals, Pot Nooodle was the food of choice, just add boiling water, no need for overpriced poxy veggie burgers or bean sauce or noodle soup.
Eff me, just saw, chicken and mushie, my favourite, btw, didnt they also come with a bag of sauce inside?

Got to a long way to beat a decent plate of ''Bubble and Squeak.'' Known in scouse as ''blind scouse'' if without any meat content or ''scouse'' if it has some meat content. There is a difference as the scouse dish tends to be a soupy style pottage

I've only eaten bubble once....and on a Monday....it was the proper leftovers from a pub Sunday lunch menu.
Absolutely deeeelicious it was....same idea as the ubiquitous No Name dish in Thailand I suppose....but tastier.
