So there's some guy apparently sending 70k a month to Thailand to his girl. That must be up there in the quest for love, in his mind anyway.

I knew his girlfriend. I also knew the farang guy that was banging her and giving her 8,000 a month. The biggest/rapid extraction I heard of was in the news ( from memory ). Italian guy lost about 2 million euro in a couple of months. |

^^ Not being a believer in paying people to stay at home - I had my ex do my internet marketing for me.
15,000 baht a month.
I told her that she was being paid 10,000 a month for doing the job, and 5,000 a month, ahem, support.
Anyway - there's many ways to skin a cat - so once a month I transferred 15,000 baht to her bank card. Paid from my company account.
So I could write it off against tax.
50 adverts per day then appeared on Gumtree - posted in Thailand - direct to a Glasgow audience.
And customers flowed into my shop.
Man, that girl made me a fortune.

There's a video out there of a guy who paid in full for a nice house, had the receipts to prove it. After she divorced him he bulldozed the house with the cops looking on. Nothing they could do.

I'd love to see it. Good on him. Way too many men turn into carpets when they turn up in Thailand. Then again, maybe they were always carpets just searching for someone to walk all over them. |
