Turning 70 I decided to do things I had never done before just because I'd never done them. It has been 40 years since I had a mechanical keyboard that clicked. Now I have one. It's heavy too. Good clicking sound like t he typewriter I used in college. I used to type papers for extra money. It also lights up in the dark and I can make all of the keys different colors. So, at night when my screen goes black the keyboard is still lit to type in my password. Attachment Deleted |

My HP Elitebook 840 G1 notebook has backlit keys. Light goes out after a time out I can define and goes on touching a key. Nifty  |

What colour switches does it have? They both have software programs all the keys and functions are programmable along with all the colors. On the keyboard for example I like my typing keys blue and the function keys orange and the number pad green - the shift and control keys I made bright pink. Not only do you have a choice of 16 million colors but they will blink in any pattern you want like a wave or random or breathing. |

Yes that's the kind I have. The blue switch edition clicks if I have the terms correct and the brown switch is quiet. At any rate there is a 5 year warranty rated at 50,000,000 keystrokes. |
