I would have said none of the above Thailand is good at quite a few things. Making beer isn't one of them Leo is about the best in my view for my tastebuds. Fortunately even when rel ale, bitter, or dark beers aren't around there's usually Tiger, Heineken, Beer Lao etc before you need to resort to Thai beer

You forgot to add san mig, ladies need a choice too. Not Thai beer. Goes down like water though. This is just beer made in Thailand. I'd agree beers imported here even after sitting in a hot shipping container taste better, this polls for the homegrown Thai stuff.

Here the dead bugs on the can lid come free which is either good or bad I'm not sure.

Leo's off to a flier. Thing with Leo is its not overly anything. Light hops, medium lager malt, not over 5% alcohol and light bitterness. Singha should concentrate more on getting this beer into the Australian market. Its very similar to our beers but not available.

I also used to like the actress Luk Ged, who used to promote Leo, with the slogan "Tuk Kor Tuk Jai" or something like that...

I like this idea of microbreweries - # The droning buzz saw of a motorized longtail boat cruising up Chao Phraya River drowns our conversation, so Wichit Saiklao stops mid-sentence, smiles, and raises a glass of his homebrewed weizen, a crisp, golden-hued ale that goes down easy on balmy afternoons like this one. "From Bangkok I've taken a train, then a bus, then a ferry, then a motorbike taxi to reach Koh Kret, a small island located about 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Thailand's capital city in Nonthaburi province. It's where Saiklao -- friends call him P'Chit -- founded Chit Beer, his open-air, riverside microbrewery and the de facto home base of a growing resistance to long-standing laws prohibiting Thai people from brewing and distributing their own beer.".............. The new Chang. Old stuff was far too strong and only good for a headache.

They acquired Thai Amarit Brewery Co. to do so. The omission of Heineken from the poll is also curious. Thai Asia Brewery Company brews Heineken, Tiger and Cheers here.
