Being a bit of an idiot, I got a wee bit overexcited when I saw my gf's purple hard body suitcase being followed round the carousel by "my," suitcase.
Picked both up, and we headed for the exit, chuffed that we had beaten the immigration queue and received our bags in record time.
Downside - I got to my hotel, had a look in the case, and discovered it wasn't mine. Five phone calls later, I was told tgey had my case and I should pop back to the airport to pick it. Then they said that there would be a 450 baht charge to forward the case to ir's owner. But if I dropped it off to the ladies hotel in Silom there would hd no charge.
Mindful of an opportunity - my gf is away dropping it off now and collecting the other case - in exchange for a two hour massage. I agreed, not knowing the price of said massage.
2000 baht down the swanee - next time I'll just take the airport offer.
Oh well.

Emirates just lost all our bags. Thanks Emirates. They said what's your number we'll ring. Gave my number but realized back home my phone was in one of the suitcases.
