I found a copy of reasonable quality of this movie. It even has English subtitles for those who have limited knowledge of the Dutch language. The English promotional title seems to be simply "Admiral".
Lots of CGI as there are not that many seaworthy 17th century ships around. Lots a 'friendly' warring between the English and the Dutch. Of course also halfway the Raid on the Medway
(first 'battle honour' on the Korps Mariniers' colors is 'Chatham 1667').
Also some interesting scenes with the English king Charles and the Dutch Prince William of Orange and even his engagement with Princes Mary.
Do some searching or look on youtube for trailers and such.
PS It's not 'Star Wars' or 'Hornblower', but it did only have a budget of Euro 8 million.
