I find it hard to believe - all I hear are Australians complaining about the cost of living - and I agree, it's astronomical.

True blether. Like most things in life, you want the best it costs.
Cost of living is high across the board. Taxes are cruel. It is a lovely place to live if you can accept the price tags that come with it.

Imo, the biggest issues Australia faces are Health, Employment, Tax reform and Criminal Justice. Cost of living is ridiculously high, and will get worse unfortunately. Don't get me started on Criminal Justice, except to say that victims of crime have less protection than the animals who commit the crimes.

They should be hit on the head with a large stick. And the native Australians believe it was rated #1 place in the world to live, before the Pommy boat people came.   |

You can fit Thailand 15 times in Australia, 20 Japan's, and being 3% the size of Australia you can fit over 31 United kingdom's, over 10600 beaches (that's a strip of sand over 20km long), and 8222 islands. You'd get bored if you've seen all of Australia, but I doubt you ever would. |
