With you when you go to a restaurant here in Thailand?
My ex showed me the way years ago - and Mercedes Girl plus her social group always took a bottle of wine with them to meals.
My ex brought me 12 bottles of red wine, whisky and vodka on Monday. My current lady who flew in from Scotland with me was amazed at the idea of taking a bottle w8th you.
Last night at a decent restaurant she was charged 199 baht per glass of red. I was appalled - and so was the waiter when he found out she had a case of red at home -
"Next time - bring with you - we charge 150 baht to open, that's all."

Yep have taken bottles of spirits into restaurants and bars before. With spirits it's a flat fee plus pay for ice plus mixer. Works out cheaper.

Cruiser vodka last night - Australian import, you tried it, Hippity? The pre mixed variety? Sorry mate, not much a vodka drinker. I don't mind watermelon injected with vodka though, quite refreshing. |

This is the pure vodka. Some Russian friends of mine here say there's 2 types of vodka. Potato based vodka and strangely milk based vodka. ...random vodka fact. |
