OK, firstly I have to apologise for the thread title but I do need to get your attention, as I need your advise and I need it ASAP.
Once my question has been answered, I will change the thread title and move the thread to the ‘Travel’ sub-forum (if I can work it all out).
OK, to the point of my post. Later this week I am flying to Isaan for a family wedding and I only have a suit bag as hand luggage with no hold luggage (the Jamesons is going up on a pick up tomorrow), so we are talking about a domestic flight.. At the moment I am thinking of checking in electronically and getting my boarding pass online. I have never flown without luggage before, so I do not know the procedure for the electronic check in. Therefore, could one of you chappies (or chappesses) please advise if by checking in electronically and already having my Boarding Pass, this means that I do not have to go to the check in counter? If this is the case, what do I do, do I just proceed to my boarding gate with my hand baggage and present my e-ticket and Boarding Pass at any checkpoints along the way?
Sorry for being such a Window Licker but I’m not very versed in modern Technology.
First one to answer correctly gets a ‘we are not worthy, grovelling bow down’.

Correct. If you have checked in online and printed your boarding pass you can go straight to departures if you have no luggage to be stowed.
(Some airlines will accept the boarding pass on your mobile device - no need to print it.)
