Every Christmas for me begins with the young boy singing "Once in Royal David's City" down the aisle of the chapel of King's College, Cambridge.
This year, however, I haven't been able to find a torrent of the service anywhere. ("Carols from King's" is not the same thing. It takes place earlier in December.)
What's gone wrong? Did the service happen? Did Auntie not broadcast it? Or is there some evil cabal of ardent atheists determined not to allow a little joy spreading at this time of year?
