They have a chili beef pasty at the shop up the road. Yesterday, whilst in the queue (another British wonder, although a civilized one) I decided on a chili beef pasty only for the fat bird in front to grab the last one.

Plese allow me to add to that fine list, the greatest of them all, the mighty chip butty. Yes, absolutely, the chip butty sammich. Jam roly poly but I never heard of 'faggot' as a dish, what is it? It's like a meatball but with pork, liver, lungs and intestines rolled into a ball a bit smaller than a tennis ball and enclosed in stomach fat, |
