I think that was the first time in my life I had a £9 pint of beer. Thanks. I found the first taste refreshing...but after that it's just a pint. But had to let hippity have his Craft beer! It's great beers, but after a dozen carlsbergs I see why it's called an arrogant bastard! |

While you guys, posting here, I feel like I'm sitting in a Pub with a number of good friends and some strangers, of whom I am yet to make their acquaintance, but hope to do so in the near future. Plus, if the genders are creditable, nice to see some lassies here also, a nice balance to other Forums. I'm very short on drinking buddies right now. It's shocking. Patience Smokes, patience. |

Probably the most expensive beer I've had in Thailand. The Japanese one I went for was a bit sweet for me. Very good burger though - and that from someone who isn't a fan of burgers. I can't remember who paid the bill on our last night out but I do remember Smokie standing a round - myself and Hippity had a pint of "Arrogant Bastard," each at a mere 453 baht. I remember it was 453 baht because I wondered why they were so desperate for the last 3 baht. Good night out that one. I was absolutely smashed. I know I owe a few rounds to someone, no idea who though. Yes very good night out. Next day wasn't great though |
